The police, fire and ambulance service were at Weymouth Harbour on Westway Road, outside St John’s Hall on Monday night.
The Air Ambulance had been called and has landed nearby and had taken the patient to Southamton Hospital.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“We were called at 11:53pm yesterday with a requested to assist the ambulance service and HEMS doctors at an incident on Westwey Road, Weymouth. One fire engine from Weymouth was mobilised and requested to provide lighting to assist them in dealing with a patient. The stop came in at 00:25am.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said:
“We were called at 23:31hrs on Monday 29 April to an incident in Weymouth. We sent one air ambulance, two double-crewed land ambulances and two operations officers to the scene and conveyed one patient by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.”
