“We were called at 10:38 AM to a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist has received injuries not believed to be life-changing at this time,” stated a spokesperson for Dorset Police.
As a result of the accident, the B3155 King Street was closed from Radipole Park Drive (Kings Crossroads) to the Esplanade. This closure caused significant traffic disruption in the area. However, the road has since been re-opened to traffic following the clearance of the scene.
Motorists are advised to remain cautious and aware of potential residual delays as normal traffic flow resumes. Further updates on the condition of the injured motorcyclist are expected to be provided by Dorset Police as necessary.
